About TheBeachBreak
TheBeachBreak is a weekly newsletter about using AI to build a business of your own, written by someone who’s actually building one.
Every post is a real document or system I built for my business in Claude, plus the exact prompt I used to build it. Copy it, paste it into Claude, and you’ll have your own version in about ten minutes. That’s the whole format. 🌊
Who I am
I’m Aaron. I grew up surfing the beach breaks in Southern California, and I’m building a business in the real world, with real people, in person. With all the technology we have at our fingertips, I wanted to build something that gives people a reason to be present, build connections and community, and experience really amazing places around the world.
I have a background in tech but I’m not “technical”. No computer science degree, and I’m not a developer. I started exactly where most people start, typing a question into a chat box and hoping for something useful back. Everything I know came from the practice of building a real business with it. ☀️
Why the name
Two words doing two jobs.
Beach is where I’m from. Break is the other half: the break from the desk, the break from the commute, the break you keep telling yourself you’re going to take next quarter. For some people that’s a week somewhere beautiful. For others it’s the bigger leap, the one where you leave the job entirely to build your own thing.
Wherever you’re at in that, you’re who I’m writing for.
What you’ll get
One post a week. Short ones.
A real prompt you can use the same day
The document or system it actually produced, so you can see what good output looks like before you spend your own time on it
The occasional surf and travel detour, because that’s the whole point of building this way 🏄
What you won’t get
AI news. Model announcements. A list of 47 tools you should be trying. I use basically one, and I use it every day.
Nothing complicated, either. If a post makes you feel like you needed to already know something to read it, I wrote it wrong.
Who it’s for
Anyone building something of their own. A business, a side project, a thing you haven’t told anyone about yet. The examples come from my business, but the prompts are written to work on whatever you’re building.
It’s free. Subscribe below, and I’ll see you on the list, or maybe out in the lineup. 🤙
Aaron
